Description

Saxophonist Dan Bennett, who also plays with Afro-funk monsters NOMO, writes compositions that evoke the best elements of hard-swinging 1960s jazz combined with vibrant modernist elements.

His quintet with fellow saxophonist Tim Haldeman, trumpeter Justin Walter, bassist Jeff Marshall, and drummer Nick Collins is one of the best in the region.
